Information You Provide Directly

When you create an account and use our Service, we may collect the following information that you voluntarily provide:

• Exam Information: Your scheduled or target NCLEX-RN exam date, which is used to generate your personalized study plan.
• Study Data: Your answers to practice questions, quiz results, flashcard progress, lesson completion status, study session duration, and other data generated through your use of the App's study features.
• Uploaded Images: If you use the AI Explainer feature, you may optionally upload photographs of questions or study materials. These images are processed to provide you with AI-generated explanations and are not used for any other purpose.
• Support Communications: Any information you provide when you contact us for customer support, including your email address and the content of your message.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use our Service, we automatically collect certain information, including:

• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers.
• Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including features used, screens viewed, session duration, and general usage patterns.

Firebase (Google)

We use Firebase for user authentication (account creation and login) and cloud data storage. Firebase processes your account information and study data on our behalf. PostHog

We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how users interact with the App and to improve our Service. PostHog collects anonymized usage data such as feature usage and session information. RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat processes subscription-related data, including purchase history and subscription status. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We do not display advertisements in the App and do not share your data with advertising networks.

We may disclose your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share information with the third-party service providers described above (Firebase, PostHog, RevenueCat) solely for the purposes of operating and improving our Service.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights or property, prevent fraud, or ensure the safety of our users.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.

Data Security

We take the security of your personal information seriously. We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit and at rest, secure authentication protocols, and regular security reviews.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Service. Anonymized and aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytics and service improvement purposes.

Children's Privacy

Nursing Ready is designed for adult users who are preparing for the NCLEX-RN licensure examination. Our Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Because our Service is intended exclusively for adult nursing students and graduates, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) are not applicable to our Service.

International Users

If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where our servers and service providers are located. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, we will notify you through the App or by email.
