Best NCLEX YouTube channels in 2026

The YouTube channels actually worth subscribing to for NCLEX prep, by topic strength, not by subscriber count.

There are too many NCLEX YouTube channels. Most are mediocre. Here are the ones I send students to and what each one does best.

RegisteredNurseRN (Sarah)

Best overall. Clear delivery, NCLEX-relevant content, well-organized playlists by system. Strong on pathophys, pharm, and skills. Free quizzes paired with most videos.

Mark Klimek (audio + paid live)

Not technically YouTube but his approach has shaped a generation. Some free clips on YouTube; full course is paid. Strongest on mnemonics and exam-day mindset.

Picmonic (mixed free/paid)

Visual mnemonics. Polarizing, students either love or ignore them. Free trial, then paid.

Simple Nursing (Mike Linares)

Conversational style. Good for content overviews. Limited free content; paid for full library.

Nexus Nursing (Jason Holdridge)

Strong on cardiac and respiratory. NCLEX-specific framing. Free videos for the most-tested topics.

Level Up RN (Cathy Parkes)

Flashcard-style videos. Good for memorization-heavy topics like labs and drug classes. Paired with paid Level Up RN flashcards.
